yest...a day of highs n lows...

low 1: rejected for LEP scholarship...guess i seemed too unsure abt my future during the interview..well, i am indeed...disappointed for awhile, den i was all right again =)

low 2: the horrendous maths lecture test 1...it's out to kill...single digit (upon 40)...confirmed...

high 1: bodylanguage! got ready, make up, tied up my hair into a half pony-tail coz some pple said i look gross if i got hair stuck onto my face when i sweat...palpating heartbeat while waiting for our turn...den zhiwen asked us to practise the danceworks dance again...just as i finished the last pose and couldnt stop panting, someone came down to tewl me it was our turn! whoA! bad timing man...nevertheless, i hoped i had presented our item with high energy (at least i tried)...the crowd did cheer...loved it =) soo....we got 2nd...the cucumbers were the champs =) i really think they deserved it, they had much more pple n energy than the 3 of us together...congrats!! so my grp, rouge, received a huge box of tidbits and 50 bucks m1 voucher each haha...

high 2: daniels' 19th bdae! song n cake...oh i still owe maria $ hmmz... took fotos with nyp dancers..they are fwenly pple, wanna ask us out for dinner someday summore..think it's because of our "natural resource" lar horrr....hahaha... we went to rj to watch their dance night (enchainment)... was wonderful with the variety of dances..they have excellent modern dancers and great chinese dancers, just a pity their hiphop wasnt dat good, the girls hiphop team looks more like jazz...nevertheless (heck the genre), it was awes0me! huangjing, vizanne, charmaine, dehui n fwens...i felt so happy looking at u guys dance =) my fave is the partner latin/spanish dance (the lead girl is daaammnn sexy!!!), liked the indian dance & the opening modern item too.......had a gr8 time with the danceworks pple =) tag huer...hahaha...tingz heard me rant le...babes, u shall have ur turns =) c

onclusion: this day ended on a high note =)

inter-school chinese short play comeptition '05

omgomgomg.....haha we are the champions!! this is the 8th year of the annual skit competition, and for the first time hwachong decides to participate... our skit is written by a j2 i think, one of the 10 scripts originally written for huangcheng '05... it's about our society, it's issues n boundaries...they all dressed up as cows...lots of metaphors were used...it's a creative n fresh way of putting ideas across...i've nv seen such a play, cute, hilarious, emotional and serious at the same time...neither have i worked on such make up -- cow make-up...mooooo.... =) i was worried at the beginning...wondering if weilong n i could complete 5 pple's cow-ish makeup in time and make it purrfect, coz for the prelims su lao shi did help us on one or two of the actors...this time round, it's all ours....=)

i tried to be fast yet as perfect as i can...i accidentally drew into vaneh's eyes and the white face paint began spreading across her sclera and milky white tears began to flow...(not so bad lar, abt one to two drops..")...she had to remove her contacts, wash them, wash her eyes, before i cound continue...i felt really bad, esp when she wasnt angry at all and felt bad too, coz i had to sorta re-draw her right eye (sorry vaneh!).........but heng arh! we managed to perfect everything in the end!!! quite alot happened today...but i'm too lazy to tell it all...*yawns*...anw, i think all the 5 actors, lighting, sound, makeup, props (office chairs, glasses of vitasoy & the "mad cow" label), costumes (cow overalls and cow ears) & su lao shi rocked! our skit is the most creative & sincere of all......the champ thing.....we definitely deserved it =) ps: go look at pics of the cow make-up in "strictly-no-porn 2" !!! hahahha....

we tried out audi's stage for bodylang yesterday...it was quite a disaster...i was trying hard to picture how we're going to have adequate spacing, yet sufficient time to change formations... we didn't have much time coz we went in late (so sorry...）anw, i sorta worked stuff out so it's all right now... hope guolu and limen can get the steps n timing n precision right by tues...we require an energy boost and sharpness in our moves...i'm beginning to feel how zhiwen felt before danceworks'05, and how i felt before danceworks'03 when i was in charge.......

guolu, limen, we must jiayou!!! =) coz the other grps were not bad at all!!!

my ankle is fine now...a little painful if i go touch it but other than that, it's alive n kickin'...

today went home with hons...met her brother on the bus (he didn't notice her)...she was like waavvviinnnggg and crying "hellooooo" but that dude was just another oblivious teenager... so she resorted to smsing him -.-....hahaha....for the rest of the journey hons and i engaged in this brainless conversation entirely in british/american accent! it was darnnn farnie...esp when hons paused suddenly and whispered, "i think the people behind are quite irritated. i would be." hahahahha...den we burst into laughter & got really high even after we reached home...haha...=.=....brainlessness is the wisdom of fun...=D

my ankle... ='(

was practising bodylang dance with limen yesterday when i twisted my ankle... was painful at first, not excruciating, just painful, but after awhile it wore off..so i thought i was fine we cont'd dancing... later at night, the pain returned to it's mummy (argh...)... as usual i rubbed my ankle with some medicated oinment then went to slppp....

this morning when i woke up, the pain persisted....i was quite worried about my dance, about next week, so i decided i'm gonna get this ankle right within max 2 days...(also i was lazy to go to sch ^-^)...so i asked mum if i could miss sch so that dad can take me to the sensei... mum wasn't too happy about it but she let me be... so after smsing some pals to help me with certain stuff in sch, i went back to bed =)

went to the sensei later this morning, got quite an angonizing massage then a bandage (it's fun looking at people bandaging your own foot haha...) so here i am, back, blogging.... i'll do some work later....

mass shopping....!

went shopping with danceworks team today =)... coz we were given $200 heeren voucher in return for guest performing at tpjc dancefest...each person entitled to $20 but we were given $50 vouchers...so we had to go shopping together or else we can't split the vouchers..hmmz....

so yupz...was the first to arrive at heeren... called zhiwen he said everyone's gonna be late (like so helpful haha), and asked me to walk around alone...hmphz...so i smsed daniel to ask if anyone's reaching so0n...then went to the ladies...dum dee dum.... okay, so daniel called back to say he n weidi were beside marche...phew i haf company...

went down to meet them...saw daniel...waved enthusiastically at him (while a guy walked past me)...weidi was like "who the hell u're waving at?"...that's how daniel got the chance to suan me about my height again....thanks arhhhh dan u make my day.....

after sometime the rest arrived..(i shld be less punctual, like i used to be hmmz =] ).....sam showed us proudly her new sunglasses haha...they looked really cool on her i thought...darn cool! hahaha....rock on babe.....

basically for the entire afternoon we practically strolled in and out of every shop in heeren...we needed to find "matches" -- 2 people who fancy stuff from the same shop...such that we could make use of the $50 vouchers....i spotted my wallet (maroon, metallic)...someone had to be my match! so zhiwen checked the wallet shop out, and kinda fancied the kewl wallet sam n i spotted earlier...he wondered if he shld purchase it coz he has 4 velcro wallets at home...sam n i were like, "duuhhhh....plsss change ur wallet! it's [darn] ugly...." in no time zhiwen agreed to buy it..but he perferred the black one coz he thought the white one seemed attention-seeking & gayyy (ahermz..^-^..) anw he kept asking us if it's aa or gay..i didn't think so, but still, yar black looked more "macho", but stock won't arrive until tues or wed....so zhiwen took down my wallet model and he shall go down to heeren to buy our wallets when he has the time...yay!!! new wallet wallet wallet...i'm so easily satisfied... =)

so anyway...we all got our "matches"...except for maria..who couldn't find anything she liked...she was so much in despair she couldn't careless le...so zhiwen gave her $19 cash instead haha...poor maria...=... it's weird when u go heeren n browse the shops u think there are lots to buy, but when u're actually looking for something nice n suitable, nothing much comes into view....

happyhappyhappyyy.....can't wait for my new wallet...my current one has a hole in it ='(..... [confession: sorry huiyi went shopping but didn't get ur bdae present hehhhh....""]
